I am a global technical leader, entrepreneur, and three-time author with over 30+ years of experience running distributed engineering teams worldwide.

In my current role as mentor and project guide at the Integrated Innovation Institute at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley, I co-deliver courses, contribute to curriculum design, and mentor students in their projects and practicums.

I am passionate about humanistic leadership, using artificial intelligence in innovative solutions, gender equality, and sustainability.

I mentor students at my alma mater in India, the College of Engineering, Guindy, seeking guidance in higher studies and careers. Other organizations where I mentor include the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) mentoring program, where the focus is on career growth, transition, and higher learning, and the Barbara Smith Women’s Mentoring Program run by the Carnegie Mellon Women’s Association (CMWA).

The company Retail Solutions Inc. (RSi), which I co-founded, is a leader in Retail Analytics in the Consumer Packaged Goods domain. I ran product development for the company and was responsible for scaling the global product development team worldwide and delivering multiple applications.

I have over 20 years of experience focusing on mission-critical systems to support semiconductor and other high-value-added manufacturing. At Consilium, now part of Applied Materials, I managed the development of three generations of Manufacturing Execution Systems.

My Ph.D. in Operations Management is from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, and my undergraduate engineering degree is from the College of Engineering, Guindy, where I was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus 2020 award.

I am the author of:
